The Boudoir Photographer seeks to capture on film, in a sensitive and tasteful manner, the enticing, sensual and sexual aspect of women. This Art form has never been as popular and widespread as it is today. It has replaced an appreciable proportion of conventional portraiture of women who are not experienced models and who may not necessarily be “perfectly proportioned” in currently fashionable sense.
It can be conducted in any romantic setting that’s appropriate to the subject being photographed.
Boudoir photography has something in common with Glamour and Fashion photography as well as portraiture, yet it is really none of these. Its framework is illusion and fantasy, tempered by the bounds of good judgment and taste. It is a new field.
Today, boudoir imaginary gives a woman a good reason for memorializing herself on film, year after year.
