Even though you may do your makeup very beautifully on a day to day basis, you must be aware that what you see in person is not what you'll see on film. The camera interprets colors differently, so makeup colors must be selected with the knowledge of how it will ultimately appear in a photograph. Shadows must fall in their proper places, and fade in a graceful manner in sync with the natural underlying colors of the skin. One odd color or reflection in the wrong place can ruin the look of every photograph. Classic styling is a must. . . trends in hair and makeup will quickly become dated.
